A little more private. A lot more you.
Clear boundaries matter. This explains the app and this website; your content sources, Microsoft and optional external services have their own policies.
Your library stays local
Source addresses, credentials, catalogues, guide data and personal state are stored locally. Sensitive payloads use Windows-user-bound protection and authenticated encryption, not full-disk encryption. Software with your Windows privileges may still access data.
You choose the connections
Import, refresh and playback contact your chosen sources. Optional artwork and selected-title cast lookup contact their hosts, TVmaze, Wikidata or Commons. These services can see your IP address and requests. HTTPS protects transit; HTTP does not. TiviCove is not a VPN.
History, backups and diagnostics
History is initially enabled for up to 200 recent items and can be paused, cleared or edited. Ten import/refresh reports are protected locally; export is explicit and does not upload anything. Backups are password-protected files you control. Restore replaces the library; forgotten passwords cannot be recovered.
This website
There are no analytics scripts, advertising cookies, embedded third-party videos or remotely loaded fonts. A manual language choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. Clear site data to forget it. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site; its retention must be confirmed when hosting is selected.
Support and external links
The Microsoft Store, content providers and linked sites apply their own terms. For app support or privacy questions, use the publisher’s support contact on the Store listing. Do not send passwords, private playlist URLs, backup secrets or screenshots of a real provider library.
Your next great watch starts with your space.
A little less clutter. A little more comfort. Your library, the TiviCove way.
